SCOON is a non-profit organization established in 2008 with a heartfelt commitment to supporting disabled people, and underprivileged families. Since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society by addressing the basic yet vital needs of those who are often overlooked.

At SCOON, we believe that every person—regardless of physical ability or background—deserves equal opportunities, care, and support. Our initiatives include the distribution of wheelchairs and mobility aids,, and assistance in launching small businesses to promote economic independence.

Our work is made possible through the generosity of donors, the passion of volunteers, and the shared belief that together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Dear Friends,

Millions of handicapped children/persons is suffering difficulties in daily life. SCOON started to help PWDs since 15 oct, 2008 from Oslo – Norway.

SCOON mission, leaving no one is behind is the main theme of Sustainable Development Goals SDG’s which Pakistan has ratified. But in Pakistan, people with disabilities are always left behind in all aspects of life. Every day is a challenge for people with disabilities but not because of their physical or mental conditions, but society’s inability to serve their needs.

By carrying out future strategy, SCOON will comfort its position among the leading organizations through the provision of welfare services to persons with disabilities, with a particular focus to empower them social and economically. We have challenging years ahead, but will continue to strengthen our role in sector. After 12 years struggle, we’re able to change the lives of disabled and terminally ill children by providing thousands of items of equipment every year.

SCOON providing Empowerment courses for the PWDs through vocational training. The main aim of this program is to enhance the quality of life of persons with disability through increased knowledge and skills.

Hundreds of people suffer from some form of disability. SCOON small business projects helps them to start a very small business with very small capital with SCOON team support.

Orphans are those innocent souls who suffer the most on the earth due to unavailability of proper parental support. “SCOON Kafalat Program” to ensure a brighter future for the orphans.

People who do not have enough sources to purchase the daily foods, “SCOON” arrange a monthly food packages for them. Although its not a permanent help but it helps them in poor time! There are many ways to help charities and one of the best is to provide charity gifts for orphans and for school going kids.

With the effect of covid-19, we lost our loved ones our jobs and faced lots of mental traumas. But with the grace of ALLAH SCOON was fully devoted is serving humanity especially the handicapped and needy people.

We really worked hard throughout the pandemic in providing wheelchairs across the Pakistan. We educated poor students with the courses of graphic designing by giving them scholarships. I would like to highly thanks all my donors, my team members, my volunteers for standing shoulder to shoulder in supporting and winning the hearts of needy. The actual art of living is by serving humanity in true terms.

SCOON Program

Wheel Chair

The wheelchair program is designed to support individuals with disabilities, primarily children, by providing them with mobility aids to enhance their independence and quality of life. To date, 687 wheelchairs have been delivered to those in need, ensuring they can lead more fulfilling and active lives.

Rozgar Program

This program focuses on fostering economic empowerment by enabling poor individuals to start small businesses. With 25 projects successfully completed, the Rozgar Program has become a beacon of hope for many families, providing them with a sustainable source of income.

Plantation Projects

SCOON actively participates in environmental conservation through its plantation projects. These initiatives aim to combat climate change, enhance biodiversity, and create greener spaces for communities, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable environment.

Awareness Campaigns

Through its awareness campaigns, SCOON seeks to highlight the challenges faced by orphans and advocate for their rights. With 14 seminars conducted, the organization has educated communities and policymakers about the importance of supporting orphans in achieving a brighter future.

Kafalat Program

The Kafalat Program provides essential support to orphans and widows through food packages and financial assistance. With 400 food packages delivered and 12 ongoing kafalat cases, this program ensures that vulnerable families receive the help they need to meet their basic needs.

SCOON Courses

To equip youngsters, women, and orphans with the skills required for professional growth, SCOON offers a range of training and professional courses. Over 4 courses have been successfully completed, empowering youth, orphans, and women to secure better opportunities and contribute to the workforce effectively.
